The water treatment stations or urban treatment plants “NovSewage” are used in wastewater improvements for disposal or reuse. They are suitable as permanent facilities for large population centres with minimum operating costs per m3 of treated water.

Novhidro’s treatment stations serve to close the water cycle contributing to sustainable development. Our company is at the forefront in WWTP projects, treating the water appropriately before being returned to environment. We offer the design, manufacture and commissioning of turnkey plants.

Novhidro also develops compact solutions in water purification “Novtreat compact”, providing solutions to small flows of waste waters and discharges. They are provided in 20 ‘and 40’ containers, with or without electric range and use fossil fuels or renewable energies.

They are usually small treatment facilities and take all necessary elements for immediate installation where needed  including in isolated areas.

Normally they are used by armies and isolated houses or developments.

Within the industrial market, Novhidro has developed several specialized water treatment systems, “Novpurifiyng” in both, service and process water, to be discharged or reused, free of contamination, or to get new derivative products. We develop modern methods and uses, according to market needs, and regulations on discharges for Environment Conservation.

Novhidro incorporates different technologies in WWTP adapting perfectly to the specific needs of each customer and enable reuse in irrigation and other purposes.

 

Our team of professionals analyse the characteristics of each project’s needs to provide the most effective, inexpensive and ecological solutions.

They  frequently employ in these plants the MBBR technology (Moving Bed Bio Reactor) based on biomass plastic substrates (“carriers”) which are suspended in the mixed liquid of the biological reactor. These supports allow a higher growth of microorganisms per volume unit than a conventional system, achieving an excellent effluent quality in a minimum implantation space.

The MBBR system is a simple and robust process which can increase treatment capacity by simply increasing the percentage of carriers in the reactor.

WATER REUSE

During drought periods or in special scarcity areas it is critical to recover water after use. Novhidro is at the forefront in WWRS projects so waters once treated properly can be reused in certain industrial and agricultural process.

SYMBIOTIC WATER TREATMENT

Novhidro’s SYMBIOTIC purification plants are based on the use of fixed beds fed by organic material dosed through the filters. This technology has proven be effective in domestic wastewater from one house to an entire city, and with industrial waste water from various sources.

It is a reliable and stable technology, designed for self-management, maintaining the effluent quality without a thorough control of natural depuration process. It also automatically adapts to sharp fluctuations of inlet flow, and long periods of inactivity.

THE MAIN TECNOLOGIES EMPLOYED ARE:

Rotary sieves:

They separate large solids from water.

Decanters:

They separate solids by flocculation and sedimentation in water with high solids concentration.

Discs Filtering equipment with different micronage:

Depending on filtering quality, we feed the fixed beds with different concentration of microorganisms. There will be several stages of these filters depending on the wastewater source.

Trickling filters of fixed beds:

They digest and remove organic material in anaerobic operations, leaving wastewater suitable for reuse pouring. There will be several filtering stages depending on the wastewater source.

Static mixer or disinfection:

Product water is homogenized and if needed pathogenic microorganisms will be removed by chlorine or other disinfectants such as biocides, ultraviolet light, ozone, etc.
